Men's and Women's Encounter

It doesn't matter if you have been a believer for a long time or are new to Christ, our Encounter is just for you. During this life-changing class you will learn what Christ has done for you, through the power of the cross, to set you free.

What is an Encounter?

We believe that the first step in becoming a disciple is to be "free indeed". An Encounter is a Saturday of freedom - freedom from habits, bondages, wrong thoughts, and past mistakes. By coming to the Encounter, you give the Lord the opportunity to set you free through the power of the cross and to minister resurrection life that will help you to walk out all your days in God's presence. An Encounter is an opportunity to step into the next level of encountering God as we are changed into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Men and women have separate Encounters held at Christ the King Church. The registration fee is $30 and includes lunch, dinner and a syllabus. Alumni who register a person new to CTK may attend the sessions at no cost. You may pick up a registration packet at the church office or register online at The Encounter class is found under the "Group" tab after you have created a log in.

Meetings with Ed Traut

May 22-24, 2016
Christ the King Church

Born and raised in South Africa, first generation of German holocaust refugees, Ed Traut received Jesus as his Savior at thirteen years of age. He was filled with theHoly Spirit in a dynamic church where the gifts were embraced, giving rise to the prophetic gift in which he now flows.

In obedience to the Lord, Ed moved his family to San Antonio, Texas in 1998 where he founded Prophetic Life Ministry. Ed's true calling is not only to minister to the body of Christ through the personal prophetic word, but to train, equip and activate the prophetic gift in others through mentorship and teaching seminars. Ed is known for the accuracy and consistency with which the Lord leads him to impart life-changing personal and corporate prophecies.
